Some afters

I got my bench all painted and distressed. Here are some after photos.

And the before to remember what we started out with.

And I finally figured out where to put the cabinet. Here's a picture of it before its makeover. We decided to use it to hold our movies and CD's for now. I'd really like my husband to build me another one so I can make it in to an entertainment center. He thought I was crazy. We will see what happens.
Don't you think it needs a partner to balance it out?

Love getting things finished! Can't wait to finish more!

I'm linking up with Meridian Road's first ever Re-do Private Party!

  3. I vote for two also! I need something about this size, maybe a tad wider for in my laundry room. I'm on the hunt. The bench is also very cute!

  7. Love the bench and how it is distressed. I'd say that you definitely need to balance out that area with two cabinets. What a great project. Love the chicken wire. Visiting from Suzanne's.

  11. I love the bench, it turned out great! It's amazing how a coat of paint makes everything look like it always went together!! I've been wanting to try making a bench from headboard/foot boards too!
