All of the sudden, the weather is just perfect! The grass is green and the peonies are in full bloom! I was so excited to see my one little peony bush blooming with tons of beautiful pink flowers yesterday! I ran to find some garden shears and something pretty to put them in!
I cut a few off of the bush and there are still plenty more on there! I placed them in a vintage carafe and an antique Strong Shoulder Mason jar. They look so pretty...I think I am in love!
I love this time of night, when the sun is starting to set and the shadows cast their shapes everywhere. It is the perfect time to take some wonderful pictures!
Don't these pretty pink peonies look so romantic on my distressed blue bench? Even the sky is the perfect shade of blue!
Mother Nature is amazing...look at all the beautiful things she creates! There are so many gorgeous flowers and vibrant colors!
I am enjoying today, spending some time with my amazing husband and enjoying our life together! Thank you to everyone for all of your lovely anniversary wishes! ReplyDeleteThey don't grow here in SO. Cal, but I have fond memories of growing up in Illinois and having them bloom in our front yard-such a sweet smell! At least I can get them at Trader Joes:)
