Come take a tour inside my camper

We finally went up to get our camper and bring her home this weekend so now I can give you the grand tour of the inside!
Here she is parked outside in the street in front of our house.  Come on inside with me!
Here is the little dinette.  We covered the cushions in a fish-themed fabric so of course I had to decorate with a wicker fishing creel full of ivy.  The table is set with my vintage Corelle "Spring Blossom" dishes straight from the 70's.  You can also see the thermoses I got to put in here from my last post.
My little kitchen has a peach stove and sink.  Cody loves making coffee in his blue percolator.  Don't you love my retro canisters?  I got them at a yard sale a few years ago and only paid $1 for all 3!  I am always on the lookout for anything vintage that will go great in here.

Here is the bed made into a couch.  When we are up camping we always keep it folded down so we don't have to make the bed everyday.  I store extra bedding in the loft along with our clothes and Cody's fishing poles.
And here is the back with the bed down.  See my tray from my last post?  It works so well for sitting in bed and reading or whatever!  The duvet cover was a thrift store find that I got for $10.  It was brand new and I fell in love with every single detail instantly!
Here is the little plaque outside the front door.  Funny fact--Cody's parents lived in Bellflower, California for a short time.  Oasis campers aren't too common, at least I don't think they are.
When we bought this camper over 5 years ago, Cody painted the outside as well as hand-painting this logo that is on the front and back of the camper.  It needs to be redone already but I think it just adds to the charm!
Here are some more shots at different angles.  Not only do we have the ability to use power if it is available, but we can also use the gas lights if it isn't.  That is so nice!
The frames that I have hanging will soon be redone.  I have fun ideas for them, but for now they are in their natural state!
We love this camper so much.  Of course it would be nice to have a bathroom in it, but for now, it is perfect just the way it is.  I hope you enjoyed the tour of my vintage 1967 Oasis Camper!

*UPDATE*
Our camper has been featured on Vintage Camper Trailers Facebook page!  Check it out here.

  15. Oh I love your trailer. I have a '67 Field and Stream. I decorated it when I got it 10 years ago, but I am getting thrift store and IKEA things together for an inside redecorate. And my hubby is going to paint it again. Isn't it fun? It's like having a play house. (you have small children, so I imagine they aren't too keen on hanging out except for holidays. Thanks for sharing. Blessings

  19. This brings back memories! When I was little (the youngest of three girls) we had a little camper very similar to yours! We camped at the ocean and in the mountains every year, and even took it to Disneyland when I was five years old! Thanks for the tour. You have decorated your camper to be so cute and comfortable!
