Fall on the Porch and Faux Throws

Between being down for 2 days with a migraine, the first football game of the season, taking a little day trip and scrubbing my kitchen floor, I got a little fall decorating done over this 3 day weekend.  I wanted to create a cozy feeling with warm throws and festive colors.
I could have bought actual throws, but JoAnn's didn't have any in the colors I wanted nor did I want to pay a ton of money for them.  Instead, I bought 2 yards of flannel in the perfect colors.  I cut the 2 yards in half and threw them over my vintage green chairs.  I tied a burlap ribbon around the pillows and it is so cozy looking out there now, just like I wanted it!
A quick trip to the Dollar Tree for some garland and this cute little fall sign to dress up up this spot above the chairs.  The sign fit perfectly in this window.
I got some sunflowers from the dollar store to put in my blue mason jars that hang off of the deck railing.  I need to tie some different ribbon onto the wire hangers.
I just love these giant sunflowers and they look so cute in my address planters.  My favorite local craft store is going out of business and the whole store is 70% off.  These sunflowers end up costing only 90 cents...I am going to have to go back and get more!
I filled my black lanterns with faux pumpkins and sprinkled in some sunflowers to tie them in with everything else.
It's so hard to get a picture of the porch since it is so narrow but I love it anyway.  Our weather has been absolutely wonderful and cool and perfect for front porch sitting!
