Fall Favorite Revisited: PUMPKIN ROLL

I pretty much skipped over making any apple desserts and went straight to making pumpkin ones instead.  First up-PUMPKIN ROLL!  It is a favorite in my house and this is just the first of many that I will make this Fall.  So, for the first official day of Fall, I am revisiting this old favorite and sharing with you how simple and delicious this pumpkin roll is.

And because Saturday, September 20th was my birthday, I had to share this picture of my sweet husband and the yummy cake he baked and decorated for me.  I helped him a little bit but it was all his idea!  I sure do love him!
I am so happy that Fall is finally here, well, at least the calendar says it is.  We are expecting temperatures in the 90's for the next 2 days and then it will drop to the 70's by Friday.  I have a wedding that I have been planning for over a year on Saturday so fingers crossed that it doesn't rain!

I've always wanted to do a pumpkin roll, but the rolling part has always been intimidating! This looks easy!

What a sweet hubby! Hope you had a wonderful birthday Trisha! I love pumpkin roll, which is funny; because I don't like pumpkin pie at all. I haven't made one in years. Need to again! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
