A beautiful September wedding

I thought I would share with you a few of my favorite photos from the wedding that I planned last Saturday.  The rain didn't bother us too much but the wind was another story!

Chandra is a gal that I went to school with.  We weren't friends in high school but when she put out a plea on Facebook about needing someone to help her plan her wedding, I told her that I would help her since it is what I love to do.
Not only was I the wedding planner, I was also the designer for the Save the Dates and Invitations, the makeup artist for the bride and her two daughters and the photographer!  Wow, when she called me her Renaissance girl it couldn't have been more true!
The wedding was held at my parent's house where I was married 5 years ago and my mom made the cake.  It was beautiful, she always does such a great job!
Both Chandra and Brian have a daughter of their own and it is so lovely to see how well the girls get along together.  They were both so happy to see this family finally joined as one!
I rented a big lens to shoot this wedding with and I had the hardest time sending it back after seeing the amazing pictures I took with it.  I know it isn't the camera that takes the great pictures, it is the person behind it, but I am even shocked at how well I did!
A big congratulations to Chandra, Brian and your girls.  You had a beautiful wedding day and I can't thank you enough for letting me be such a big part of your day!

Wow how exciting to have to have been the wedding planner at that wedding! The bride and groom looked so nice and love the flowers!

It sounds like you were the bride's and groom's wedding angel! I thought about you on Saturday and was glad the rain held off for the most part. Your wedding photos are stunning! I think you could make it as a professional! And what's this about renting a lens; I didn't know you could do that! I would just about kill for a good wide angle lens, even just to try it out. Kudos to you, Trisha. What a nice thing you did for this couple!
