A helpful husband brings wonderful things

My husband is a very hard worker. When someone asks him for help, he never says no. This past weekend his boss asked him to help move his wife's floral shop to a different location. Of course Cody said yes and he spent his whole weekend moving. Luckily for me, my husband also knows the kinds of things that I love. When they were going to throw out all these amazing things, he told them that I would love them and brought them home to me. Can you imagine throwing this stuff out-for shame!
This single paned antique window with window box will soon be finding its way into my living room. The chippiness of the paint makes my heart flutter! This 3 paned vintage window is in such wonderful condition. I think I might put some pictures in each pane and hang it somewhere in my house. So many lovely possibilities!
I just love this re-purposed bird house made out of old barn wood. It even came on a post so that we can put it somewhere in our yard. I love birdhouses in the yard! He also brought me 9 brand new Scentsy warmers that they were going to trash. I don't need another one, but I might trade out the ones that I don't like for ones that I do and sell them. Seriously, the things people throw out!
Cody also watered his best friends yard while they went to the Oregon Coast. As a thank you for his work, they brought us fresh crab. Last night we had an amazingly delicious surf and turf dinner...wish we could eat like that every night! Having such a wonderfully helpful and kind-hearted husband has really paid off lately. It is true that good things come to those who do good!

It's so nice of your husband to think of you and send you all of this. I love crab. The last time I had crab was when my brother-in-law sent us some while fishing up in Alaska. The Alaskan king crab is the best, with butter, of course...yummy.

Cody is certainly a keeper Trisha! He brought home the best 'stuff'!!!! I can't believe they even thought about throwing that stuff away. It will be great in your home!
My daughter Ember says the smoke is awful that way. It is pretty bad here too, but not as bad as you guys have it. I hope the fires are under control soon.

It's a rare man who can look at other people's trash and see treasures for his wife. He really "gets" you.
