Pink Roses for Pink Saturday

Today I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for my very first Pink Saturday. It's something I have been wanting to do for awhile, but just haven't had the courage to do so until now. I am really excited to do my first Pink Saturday post on my beautiful wedding bouquet. I have lot's of pink things in my home, but this is by far my most favorite! I got married June 13th, 2009. My wedding colors were Tiffany Blue, Black and White. Most people were shocked to hear that my color wasn't pink. I wanted just a little pink, so I chose to have my roses be the only pink. And oh my goodness were they BEAUTIFUL!!

We made all of our bouquets, coursages, and boutiniers. This is a picture taken by the photographer that features my bouquet and my 5 bridesmaids bouquets. Don't you just love all the shades of pink! In the middle there are diamonds and pearls and the stems were wrapped in Tiffany Blue satin ribbon. Absolutely lovely!

These roses dried so well. I hung them upside down until they were completley dry. They are still absolutely beautiful!

I want to save these roses forever. They have a special place on a shelf where they hang out with my white centerpieces, the unity candles and the toasting glasses. I love to look at them and be reminded of the most wonderful day of my life when I married the most wonderful man in the world. I always wanted to find my Prince Charming and I finally did!

Thank you for letting me be a part of Pink Saturday and letting me show off my beautiful pink roses!

Welcome to Pink Saturday Trisha! Your bouquet is gorgeous, and I love how wonderful the pink color goes with that Tiffany Blue. Just that little peak at the bridesmaid dresses that I can see behind the bouquet leads me to believe that your wedding must have been stunning!
