Friends Card

I have some pretty special friends in my life and every once in awhile, I like to give them a little something to let them know how much they mean to me! While browsing The Graphics Fairy Blog, I came across the graphic you see above. I love how the children are sleeping in the nest, don't they look so peaceful?! I knew that I wanted to use it to create a card for a very dear friend!I love the nest and knew that I could really make that part stand out! I used vintage sheet music for a background and set the graphic in the middle of that. For the nest, I used some moss from Michaels. I love the unruly look of it! I then added a leaf, a few flowers, some ribbon on the top and bottom and a little pink paper where I wrote "Friends are Forever". I am pretty happy with the way it turned out!
I really like how the children look like they are snuggled deep into the nest and the rest of the elments really stand out. I know my friend will love receiving this and I had so much fun making it!
I will be linking this altered card up with The Graphics Fairy Brag Monday!

Have a great week everyone!!

That looks really lovely. I have no imagination to picture the card finished like that but I love to look at others. Really nice.
