A new teacup set for me

Back in August, I won a $40 gift certificate to CSN Stores. I went back and forth as to what I was going to get. I knew I wanted to add a teacup to my teeny tiny teacup collection. I saw this set and decided to get it! I really like the colors on this pretty set. There are pink and white roses and tiny little blue flowers too!
I like the fluted edge of the plate.
And I really like how the edge of the saucer and cup have a nice tan coloring.
This teacup set is nothing old or super special, but I am glad that my Lonely Little Teacup now has a friend to keep it company! I can see why there are so many of you out there that collect tea cups-it's so fun and there are so many beautiful pieces out there!
I am linking up to Teacup Tuesday
Would you also be so kind and go vote for my Pink Champagne Rose Cupcakes at The Middlest Sister? I would really appreciate your vote!!

That is really a pretty teacup and saucer. When we get back to North Carolina I need to pull out my mother and grandmothers set to see what is in there. I haven't looked at them since 2006 when my mother passed. I think I'm ready now. Have a wonderful evening.

Hi, Trisha...

Sometimes the not so super special things are the most special, because they have a unique quality to them. I think your teacup is wonderful, and I do like when the artists add blue flowers to accent.

Enjoy it every day...many blessings to you,
Marianne

Hi Trisha,
I love your little tea cup and saucer. I love anything Anna Griffin. I got hooked on her scrap book paper a few years ago.

I hope you have had more sun than I have of late. But knowing the Boise area, you are probably experiencing the inversion too. I want some sun!!!!
hugs to you...
