Vintage Container Garden Progress

These spring weekends have been so busy.  I've had events on Saturday which leaves only Sunday for me to get everything done.  Somehow I have managed to do some yard work and get some flowers planted.  I have added a few fun things to my vintage container garden and I am always on the lookout for more!
I found this vintage chicken feeder at a yard sale this fall and was able to snag it for $5.  I knew that I wanted to plant alyssum around the bottom.  I have it sitting on an old metal step ladder in my favorite corner of the yard.
This metal wash tub has a faded red/orange color to it and this bright orange Gerber daisy was the perfect flower for it.  I might still plant something else around it.
Having a log planter has been on my list for awhile now.  I mentioned it to my brother in law and he was quick to make me one.  It's a little small, but I love it anyway. It has pink geraniums and orange violas.
Now I want these lining both sides of our driveway.  That's going to take a lot of flowers and we better start collecting logs now!
I made this tiered planter years ago and had all of the terracotta planters painted white.  After being out in the weather, it has aged to perfection and I love this look better than the original.  I have pansies planted in this.
One of Cody's Christmas presents last year was a street sign.  Our driveway is long and can be hard to find if you aren't paying attention.  A custom made, double-sided street sign now hangs proudly out front on one of the light pillars we have on each side of the driveway.
Hope you are enjoying Spring!

Your vintage containers are very attractive as planters. Not only are the flowers pretty, but the containers are conversation pieces, too.
